Put safety first and create a safe construction site. In order to ensure the safety of project site construction and ensure the rapid progress of the project, Geely, deputy secretary of the party committee and general manager of China Chemical SEDIN Engineering Co., Ltd., recently went to Sichuan Lutianhua’s 100,000 tons/year green fine chemicals project to conduct an inspection and provide guidance.
During the investigation, Geely went to the project site to observe the project construction status, held a symposium, and held talks with the owners and consortium members on the recent progress of the project to clarify follow-up goals and tasks. He affirmed the current achievements of the project and put forward specific requirements for the next step: First, we must raise our political awareness, thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and important instructions on production safety, establish a firm vision of safe development, and consolidate the safety production responsibility system for all employees. Second, we must consolidate job responsibilities, strengthen our responsibilities, stay focused on key milestones, and while meeting design and procurement milestones, scientifically organize and promote efficiently, ensure safety, environmental protection, and quality, and strive for high-quality project delivery. Third, we must deepen coordination among all parties, improve the joint prevention and control mechanism among the owner, supervisor, general contractor and construction contractors, and advance all tasks in a coordinated manner. Fourth, we must boost business through production and expand business segments to lay a solid foundation for entering the southwestern market during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
